Stephens County now at 224 cases of Covid

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, Stephens County now has had 224 cases of COVID-19. The latest numbers on Tuesday still has Stephens County with six deaths due to complications from the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Habersham County is reported to have had 678 positive cases of the virus and 35 fatalities due to complications from the virus. Franklin County has 193 cases and one death, Banks County has a total of 133 cases, Rabun County is at 42 cases and three deaths, and Hart County has 59 cases.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 81,291 cases, 11,051 have been hospitalized, and 2,805 have died from complications of the virus.
