Stephens County Indians will face North Oconee at home tonight in high school football

After 3 road games and 2 open dates on the schedule, the Stephens County Indians will finally be back home tonight at The Reservation as they host the North Oconee County Titans in high school football.

Kickoff will be at 7:30.

The Indians enter the game with an overall record of 1 & 6 and a region mark of 0 & 1 after last week’s 41 to 14 loss to Oconee County.

Meanwhile, North Oconee is a perfect 8 & 0 on the season and 2 & 0 in the region after a shut-out win over St. Pius last Friday, 44 to 0.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio show, Stephens County’s defensive line coach, Brad Whitfield, said the Indians offense would like to control the ball and use up clock tonight against North Oconee.

Coverage on 93.1 FM and AM 630 WNEG starts at 5:30 p.m. with the Indian Tailgate Show. Coach’s Corner starts at 7 p.m. and pre-game coverage from the stadium starts at 7:15 p.m.

In the other Region 8 AAAA game tonight, Madison County will travel to St. Pius.

Looking elsewhere around the area this evening, Franklin County will be on the road at Jackson County, Hart County host East Jackson, Habersham Central will play at Dacula, Banks County host Putnam County, Rabun County host Social Circle, Commerce host Towns County, and White County host Denmark.
