Stephens County hosts Hebron Christian in Varsity Football Tonight

The Stephens County Indians host Hebron Christian tonight at The Reservation in high school varsity football action. The Indians had an open date last week after losing to Prince Avenue Christian on the road, 55-17, in their last game on October 3. Stephens County’s overall record is 3-4 and 1-1 in Region 8 AA. Hebron Christian also had last week off. They defeated Hart County two weeks ago 54-10, and come into tonight’s game with an overall record of 5-1, and lead Region 8 AA with a mark of 2-0. Kickoff tonight is at 7:30 p.m.
Last night on the Crunch Time radio program, Indians Outside Linebackers Coach Mike Stowe said this week’s focus for the team has been to play their best regardless of the opponent.
93.1FM and AM630 WNEG begins coverage tonight with the Indian Tailgate Show live from the stadium at 5:30 p.m., followed by Coach’s Corner at 7 p.m., and pre-game at 7:15 p.m. You can also listen online at wnegradio.com and on the free WNEG Radio app.
In other Region 8 AA games tonight, Franklin County hosts Prince Avenue Christian and Hart County hosts East Jackson. Elsewhere in the area tonight, Madison County travels to Cedar Shoals, White County hosts Greater Atlanta Christian, Commerce welcomes Oglethorpe County, Elbert County visits Athens Academy, and Banks County travels to Providence Christian. Habersham Central and Rabun County both have the night off.
