Stephens County Hospital Fall Plant Sale Today, Tomorrow; LIght T
The Stephens County Hospital Fall Plant Sale is taking place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Sept. 30, and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 1, on the Stephens County Hospital campus. The sale will be held at the first building on your left as you enter the hospital grounds from Kincaid Drive. Cash or Check accepted, and there will be a variety of plants, including mums, pansies and ornamental cabbage. All proceeds go to the Love Light Campaign.
Since 1982, the Stephens County Hospital Auxiliary has headed the annual Love Light Campaign to help raise money to purchase much needed equipment for the Hospital. 2024 will mark the 43rd Anniversary of the Love Light Campaign. The Love Light Campaign actively raises money throughout the year through fundraising events, Gift Shop sales, as well as monetary donations. Thus far, the Stephens County Hospital Auxiliary has purchased over $832,395.00 in hospital equipment through the Love Light Campaign.
In other Hospital news, Stephens County Hospital will host the 3rd Annual Light the Night for Breast Cancer Awareness event tomorrow, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. at Reflections at Lake Toccoa on Black Mountain Road.
