Stephens County Hospital CEO Resigns

Stephens County Hospital Chief Executive Officer Mike Hester has resigned.

According to the hospital, Hester has accepted a position with another organization.

The current Chief Financial Officer, Ray Leadbetter, has been named interim CEO of Stephens County Hospital. Leadbetter has only been with the hospital since June of 2020, but has over twenty years of hospital administration experience.

The hospital has also announced that Van Loskoski, who has been serving as Vice President of Physician Practices since April of 2019, will now be Interim Chief Operating Officer.

Mark Wilkinson, Chairman of the Stephens County Board of Trustees, says ” The Stephens County Hospital Authority thanks Mike Hester for the exceptional job he was able to
provide our community. He exemplified dedication, loyalty, hard work, and leadership while here with us. We are thrilled for him and his family of the opportunities that lie ahead of him. We wish him well in all of his endeavors. The Authority has full confidence that the transition to Ray Leadbetter serving as interim will be nothing short of exemplary.”

According to the release, the hospital leadership is excited for the growth that Stephens County Hospital has shown over the past few years and look forward to continuing the positive momentum of our healthcare system.
