State School Superintendent to visit Stephens County Schools

Georgia School Superintendent Richard Woods will be making a stop in Stephens County in May. He will be at Stephens County High School at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, to recognize Stephens County High School and Stephens County Middle School for being named Math Leader Schools for exceptional achievement or growth in mathematics on the Georgia Milestones assessment. Last November, the two schools were among 624 Georgia schools that met the qualifications to be recognized as Math Leaders by the Georgia Department of Education.
