State School Superintendent cancels visit to SCHS 

The fog Friday morning, May 9, forced State School Superintendent Richard Woods to cancel his scheduled visit to Stephens County High School (SCHS), says April James, School and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Stephens County School System. 

Last November, Stephens County High School and Stephens County Middle School were among 624 Georgia schools that met the qualifications to be recognized as Math Leaders by the Georgia Department of Education.
