Softball Standout Hallee Shirley Commits to Reinhardt University
A Stephens County Lady Indians softball player will be taking her athletic skills to the next level. Hallee Shirley, daughter of Jon and April Shirley, held a signing ceremony recently to announce her decision to attend Reinhardt University in Waleska.
Shirley was a four-year starter for the Lady Indians softball team at shortstop. She set a school record for career stolen bases with 103, and led the team in batting average this past season while helping the Lady Indians reach the Elite Eight in the state playoffs.
Shirley told WNEG Sports why she chose to attend Reinhardt University, saying the team matches her playing style and the school shares her priorities, morals and emphasis on Christianity
After college, Shirley plans to become an MRI Technician in the medical field.
