Seven Covid Related Deaths This Week in Stephens

The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting another death in Stephens County bringing the total to 63, seven deaths in the past week in the county, and now 2521 residents that have tested positive for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.

The latest report was released Wednesday afternoon.

The latest report still has Habersham County with 105 deaths and now 4,173 positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Rabun County is now reporting 27 deaths and 1,269 cases, Franklin County still has 25 deaths and now 1,991 positive cases, Hart County is still reporting 24 deaths and now 1,450 cases, and Banks County is still reporting 23 deaths and now 1,380 cases.

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, there have been nearly 6,000 more cases for a total of  695,400 positive cases of the virus across the state of Georgia, of those, 47,311 have been hospitalized and the total death count due to complications of the virus has now risen to 11,411. DPH is reporting 316 more deaths in the past two days.
