The Stephens County Middle School Rebels boys’ basketball teams swept their opponents in last week’s games.

On Monday, December 2nd the Rebels 8th grade boys defeated Madison County 54-48. Three Rebels scored in double figures led by Dallas Hague with 18 points, Kaiden Harbin added 14 and Luke Seal 11.

The Rebels 7th grade boys continued their winning ways with a 50-38 win over Madison County. Tray Martin scored 10 points, and Aiden Cobb and Chashus Roebuck each scored 8.

On Thursday, December 5th the 8th grade boys defeated Habersham 39-27 with Hague scoring 18 points and Harbin 16.

The Rebels 7th grade boys downed Habersham 45-27 with Martin leading the way with 11 points and Braz Adams adding 8.

The Rebels 8th grade boys are now 6-1 and the 7th grade boys are 6-2. Both teams will host Rabun County on Monday with games starting at 4:30 P.M.

The Stephens County Middle School 8th grade girls used a balanced scoring attack and stingy defense to down Madison County on Monday 48-20. Kiya Morgan led the Lady Rebels with 16 points and La’ Niya Johnson was also in double figures with 10 points. On Thursday, the Lady Rebels rolled Habersham 39-20 with Morgan leading all scorers with 12 points and Johnson adding 6. The 8th grade Lady Rebels are now 6-2 on the season.

The Lady Rebels 7th grade girls dropped two games falling to Madison 37-25 and Habersham 29-17. Ella Fletcher led the team in scoring in both games with 10 points against Madison and 8 against Habersham. Emma John Crunkleton added 8 points against Madison and 4 versus Habersham. The 7th grade Lady Rebels are 3-5 on the season.

Both Lady Rebels teams will be on the road on Monday at Rabun County.
