SCHS Track competes Well at John Scott Hartness Invitational

The Stephens County High School (SCHS) Indian Track and Field Team competed in their 8th track meet of the 2026 season on Saturday, April 11, at Franklin County High School in the John Scott Hartness Invitational. The Indians competed very well, setting 9 personal bests and breaking one class record. Highlights included Yasir Myles finishing 2nd in triple jump with the 3rd longest jump in school history, Andrew Mabery breaking the sophomore discus record, the Girls 4×200 Relay Team of Ja’vaeh Brown, Mekelliya Tukes, Kailyn McCurry, and Brianna Williams finishing 5th with a season best time, and Pierre Kouadio finishing 5th in the 400 Meter Race. The Indians will next compete in the Region 8-AA Meet on Thursday, April 23, at Franklin County High School.
