SCHS Track competes in Third Meet at North Oconee

The Stephens County High School (SCHS) Track and Field Team competed in their third track meet of the 2026 season on Saturday, February 28, at North Oconee High School. The Indians set 11 personal bests, one school record was broken, and two class records were broken. Highlights included Pierre Kouadio breaking the school record for the 800 Meter race, Isaiah Arthur setting the Junior Record in the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles, and Mekelliya Tukes setting the Senior Record in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles. The Indians will next compete at The Reservation as they host the Third Annual Currahee Relays on Saturday, March 7. Field events start at 10 a.m., with races projected to start at noon.
