SCHS Track competes in Final Regular Season Meet

The Stephens County High School (SCHS) Track and Field Team competed in their final regular season track meet on Saturday, April 12, at Franklin County High School in the John Hartness Invitational.  The Indians competed well, with the girls finishing 5th out of 10 teams and the boys finishing 8th out of 11 teams. Highlights included:  Carley Funderburke breaking the School Sophomore Record and winning the Girls Discus, Makayla Pittman finishing second in the Girls Shot Put, Joc Brown finishing 4th in the Boys Shot Put, and the Girls 4×400 Relay Team finishing 2nd.  The SCHS Track Team will next be competing in the Region 8-AA Track Meet on Saturday, April 19, at Franklin County High School.
