SCHS Tennis Teams win Third Place in Region Tournament

On Wednesday, the SCHS tennis teams took on region rival Hart County in the 3rd versus 4th consolation round of the Region 8-AA Tennis Tournament.  The Lady Indians shutout Hart Co. girls by a match score of 3-0. It is the Lady Indians team’s 8th shutout of the season. Their overall season record is 14-5. The Indians team surprised 3rd seeded Hart County boys by a match score of 3-2. The Tribe’s overall record is 11-9. Both teams finished 3rd in the region tournament and are awaiting their seeding in next week’s state playoffs.
