SCHS Tennis beats East Jackson

On Thursday, February 12, the Stephens County High School (SCHS) tennis teams travelled to play at East Jackson. The SCHS squads won 8 of 10 matches. The Lady Indians won by a match score of 4-1. The girls’ team won all 3 singles matches and their #1 doubles contest.  The Indians also won their region contest by a score of 4-1. The Tribe won their 3 singles matches and #1 doubles. Both teams are 1-1 in region 8-AA match play, and both teams have overall records of 3-1. The next match for the Indians’ tennis teams is Friday, February 20, at home versus BASA. Matches are held at the Stephens County Tennis Complex and begin at 4 p.m.
