SCHS Softball Team Wraps Up Region Schedule

The Stephens County Lady Indian softball team wrapped up the region regular season schedule with a big win.

Stephens County shut out Chestatee Thursday 13-0.

Mackenzie Rogers pitched a complete game for the win.

Offensively, Peyton Terrell and Natalie Morgan each had inside-the-park homeruns for the Lady Indians.

The Stephens County softball team is now 12-11 on the season and 4-4 in the region.

They will wait for the rest of the region schedule to play out before finding out who and where they will play in next week’s Region 8-AAAA tournament.

The top four teams out of the region will move on to the state AAAA softball tournament.
