SCHS Indians will kick off football season tonight with game against Habersham Central

The Stephens County Indians will kick off their football season tonight at The Reservation as they host the Habersham Central Raiders in a non-region game.

Last year, the Indians defeated the Raiders up at Mt. Airy, 35 to 18.

The Indians had a good season last year, going 8 & 4 and making it to the second round of the state playoffs.

Habersham Central was 3 & 7 last year.  Kick-off is set for 7:30 tonight.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio program, Stephens County Defensive Coordinator, Thomas Flowers, said he likes playing a rivalry game to begin the season.

Coverage on 93.1 FM and AM 630 WNEG starts at 5:30 p.m. with the Indian Tailgate Show live from The Reservation.

Coach’s Corner starts at 7 p.m. and live pre-game coverage from the stadium starts at 7:15 p.m.
