SCHS Indians will face Flowery Branch tonight in high school football

The Stephens County Indians will be back in action in high school football tonight at The Reservation as they host the Flowery Branch Falcons.

For the second consecutive week, the Indians are facing a ranked team—last week Stephens County lost a close game on the road at the number 4 team in Class A Division 1, Rabun County, by the score of 14 to 7.

The Indians’ record is now 1 & 1.

This week the Indians will host a Flowery Branch team that is rated number 7 in Class AAAAA.  The Falcons are undefeated after two games—last Friday night they won a low-scoring, defensive game over St. Pius, 9 to 0.

Kickoff tonight will be at 7:30.

This is the first time the Indians and Falcons have played since 2017.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio program, Indians defensive backs coach, Rocky Fulbright, said the Indians defense will face a Flowery Branch offense that relies mainly on the running game.

93.1 FM & AM-630 WNEG will begin our coverage tonight with the Indian Tailgate Show live from The Reservation at 5:30, followed by Coach’s Corner at 7, and pre-game at 7:15.
