SCHS Indians travels to Franklin County tonight in high school football

The Stephens County Indians will make a short road trip tonight as they travel to Carnesville to play the Franklin County Lions.

This year’s annual rivalry game is an important region contest for both teams.

Last Friday, both teams lost region openers on the road—Stephens County at Monroe Area, 41 to 21, while Franklin County lost at Hart County, 36 to 21.

The Indians will enter the game with a 4 & 2 record—the Lions enter the contest with a 5 & 1 overall record.

Kickoff tonight will be at 7:30.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio program, Stephens County’s Offensive Coordinator, Jerry Underwood, says tonight’s game at Franklin County is an important game because it is a region game.

93.1 FM & AM-630 WNEG will begin our coverage tonight with the Indian Road Show at 6:30, followed by Coach’s Corner at 7, and pre-game at 7:15.
