SCHS Indians return to action tonight at North Oconee

The Stephens County Indians will be on the road tonight as they travel down to Bogart to take on the North Oconee County Titans in high school football.  Kickoff will be at 7:30.  The Indians enter the game with an overall record of 4 & 3 and a region mark of 0 & 1 after last week’s 20 to 14 loss to Oconee County.  Meanwhile, North Oconee is 6 & 2 on the season and 1 & 1 in the region after playing St. Pius last Friday, the number 3 rated team in the state in Class AAAA, losing a close game, 31 to 21.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio show, Stephens County’s running backs coach, Brannon Hulsey, said the Indians are hoping to rebound from last week’s disappointing loss to Oconee County.

Coverage on 93.1 FM and AM 630 WNEG starts at 6:30 p.m. with the Indian Road Show. Coach’s Corner starts at 7 p.m. and pre-game coverage from the stadium starts at 7:15 p.m.

In the other Region 8 AAAA game tonight, Madison County will host St. Pius.
