SCHS Indians Football team set to play scrimmage game tonight against Elbert County

The Stephens County Indians football team will play two pre-season scrimmage games prior to the regular season.

The first one is tonight at The Reservation as they host the Elbert County Blue Devils.  It will start at 7:30.

The format tonight will be similar to a real game, but no live kickoffs or punts.

Indians Head Coach Wesley Tankersley says the coaches want to get a look at a lot of players tonight.

The Indians will travel to Fannin County next Friday, August 12^th, for the second pre-season scrimmage game, then kickoff the regular season Friday, August 19^th, at home as they host Habersham Central.
