SCHS Football takes tonight off
The Stephens County Indians football team will not have a game tonight due to the open date on their schedule. The Indians have completed the non-region portion of their schedule with a 4 and 1 record. They’ll start Region 8-AAA play next week when they travel to Monroe Area to face the Purple Hurricanes on Friday, October 16th.
Fans wanting to attend next Friday’s game need to purchase their tickets in advance. Tickets will go on sale beginning Monday at the main office of Stephens County High School from 8am-4pm each day next week. A limited number of allotted tickets will be sold.
There are plenty of other teams that will be in action tonight: Habersham Central will travel to Winder-Barrow, Rabun County will be on the road at East Jackson, Banks County will host Haralson County, White County will play at Dawson County, North Hall will host West Hall, East Hall will host Cedar Shoals, and Madison County will host North Oconee. Hart County has the night off and Franklin County played last (Thurs) night.
