SCHS Boys Tennis beats Winder Barrow

On Thursday, April 16, the Stephens County High School (SCHS) boys’ tennis team traveled to play at Region 8-5A Winder Barrow. The Indians won by a match score of 3-2. Jaron Jones lost at #1 singles 3-8; Alex Brunt won 8-0 at #2 singles; Devon Lynch won at #3 singles 8-0; #2 doubles team of Talent Cannon and Eli Stonecypher lost 1-8; and #1 doubles team of Kerry Wood and Graden Wilkinson clinched the match with their 8-3 win. This road trip concluded the Tribe’s regular season. The Indians’ overall record is 12-9. GHSA state playoff seedings will be announced later.
