SCHS Athletes Rudeseal, Fuller sign with Pikeville, Emmanuel College

Two Stephens County High School athletes signed scholarships last week.

William Rudeseal, son of Amanda and Larry Rudeseal signed to play football at University of Pikeville at Pikeville, Kentucky, an NAIA Division 1 school.

He said he considered Berry College, Charleston Southern, Carson-Newman, and Rinehardt , but it was the Pikeville coaches that made a big impression on him.

William played 4 years with the Indians football team, the last 2 as the starting center on the offensive line while earning All-Region honors the last two years.

He plans to double-major in education and youth ministries.

Also signing last week was  Madisyn Fuller, daughter of Brian and Teresa Fuller.

Madisyn will be going to Emmanuel College and participate on their bowling team.

She says playing on the Lady Indians softball team for 4 years and the tennis team for 2 years helped to contribute to her skill as a bowler.

Madisyn plans to major in historical education and become a high school history teacher.
