SCHA offers CFO position to Tabor

The Stephens County Hospital Authority’s Personnel Committee has recommended the Authority appoint a Chief Financial Officer.

According to Board Member Paula Dickerson, the personnel committee interviewed some candidates for the position and ultimately is recommending Britton Tabor be appointed as CFO.

Tabor told the Authority that he was impressed with the leadership’s vision for the hospital’s future.

He said that it’s important that he be a part of a winning team.

Authority Chairman Mark Wilkinson told Tabor that the final decision was Tabor’s to make.

Tabor asked the Authority to allow him to take 48 hours to decide.

“I just need to process it,” Tabor said.

The Authority approved a motion giving Tabor 48 hours to decide. If he does decide to take the job, then he will be Stephens County Hospital’s CFO.
