SCH EMS upgrades old monitors/defibrillators

The Stephens County Hospital’s Emergency Medical Services team recently purchased 6 Physio-Control LIFEPAK 15 monitor/defibrillator.

Stephens County Hospital PR and Marketing Director Samantha Rickman recently told WNEG News about the new purchase.

Rickman explained that Stephens County Hospital’s goal is to set the standard for healthcare in our community.

Throughout the year, hospital staff see that equipment is upgraded whenever an opportunity arises, says Rickman.

With the purchase of the new monitor/defibrillators the EMS team is equipped with the most clinically innovative, operationally innovative and LIFEPAK TOUGH device available in today’s healthcare market.

According to Rickman, this technology allows the EMS team at Stephens County Hospital data connectivity to easily and securely collect and send patient information to the Emergency Department before they arrive.

With this advancement it allows the medical staff to prepare for every emergency before it even arrives to the Emergency Department.
