SCBOE approves 2021-2022 School Calendar

The Stephens County Board of Education signs off on an academic calendar for the 2021-2022 school year.

Board of Education members approved the 180-day calendar at their meeting on Tuesday.

The calendar for next school year calls for 90 student days in each semester.

Students will start the academic year 2021-2022 on Wednesday, August 3, 2021; however, teachers will begin the school year on July 27, 2021.

A Fall Break is scheduled for October 4 through the 8^th.

Stephens County Schools are closed for a full week again at Thanksgiving in the 2021-2022 calendar.

In the second semester, students would have off for the President’s Day holiday on February 21, 2022.

Schools would then be closed for a full week for a Spring Break from April 4 through April 8, 2022.

The last day of school for students in the 2021-2022 calendar is May 25, with graduation for the 2021-2022 school year set for May 27, 2022.
