SCBC to consider abandoning Kay Drive

The Stephens County Board of Commissioners will meet this morning for its regular scheduled meeting and work session.

Some items up for discussion include abandoning Kay Drive, an agreement of automatic aid and mutual aid between the City of Toccoa and Stephens County Fire Services, and some amendments to the Fiscal Year 2020 budget.

The board will hold a public hearing prior to deciding on abandoning Kay Drive.

In other business, the board will consider a motion making appointments to various boards.

The Stephens County Board of Commissioners meeting is slated to begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. inside the Stephens County Historical Courthouse.
