Sark Wire shows off new expansion to parent company leaders.

Chairman Hayrettin Cayci of Sarkuysan, the Turkish parent company of local industry Sark Wire, was in Toccoa-Stephens County recently to meet with several key members of Sark Wire’s management team.

The management team showed the Chairman Sark Wire’s latest expansion.

While in town, Chairman Cayci hosted a group of local, state and federal leaders at the Currahee Club to give an update on Sark Wire’s continued growth at their Eastanollee facility.

Since locating in Eastanollee in 2015, Sark Wire has completed four expansion and their most recent expansion was completed earlier this year.

While they are still adding equipment to get their newest line to full production, when up and running, the expansion will invest an additional $5 million in their local facility and create an additional 25 jobs over the next three years.

Sark Wire currently employs 72 individuals.

Cayci shared that they plan to continue to expand, invest, and create jobs in our community for many years to come.

Sark Wire’s production capacity and product variety will increase by approximately 40 percent in the next year.
