Rockmart man arrested for burglary of Bosul Corporation

A Rockmart man has been arrested

According to Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley, on November 6, around 11:00 p.m., deputies on patrol observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign near MTC Pawn in Eastanollee.

Based off of this violation a traffic stop was conducted.

Shirley says, upon stopping the vehicle, deputies noticed the bed of the truck was full of catalytic converters.

Upon questioning the driver, 35-year-old Charles Beaver, he explained that he was given the catalytic converters by Bosul Corporation.

Beaver also admitted to deputies that he had marijuana inside of his vehicle.

Deputies checked with Bosul Corporation and learned that they had not given anyone any catalytic converters and that no one should be in possession of any of their property off of company property.

Additional deputies checked the Bosul building, which was closed at the time, and found that a back door had been pried open and another door left propped.

Based on this information the vehicle was impounded by deputies and all contraband seized as evidence.

Charles Beaver age 35 out of Rockmart GA was arrested and charged with  burglary, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, possession of a knife during commission of a felony, driving on a suspended license, and failure to obey stop sign.

He was transported to the Stephens County Jail where he is awaiting a bond hearing.
