Reminder about the Rules for The Reservation

Stephens County High School hosts its first home varsity football game of the season this Friday, September 4.

Stephens County High School Athletic Director Eric Sutulovich wants every home game to be an exciting, positive, and safe experience for students, athletes, coaches, families, and fans. He reminds everyone about some rules for The Reservation.

“Really there’s no new rules, we’re just trying to enforce them a little bit better, starting with the supervision of kids. If they’re students 8 through Kindergarten, they need to be accompanied by an adult or have supervision over them. That is for the safety of the kids and also congestion. There gets to be a lot of congestion down there by concession, and we’re just trying to eliminate that as much as we can.”

Coach Sutulovich gives the rules for the sidelines and field access.

“We did a great job last year with the sidelines, I hope we can continue to do that. If you don’t have a sideline pass, then there is no reason for you to be down on the field. After the game, when Coach Flowers is talking to the team, when he is done talking to the team, that’s when everybody can come onto the field.”

No passes out, adds Coach Sutulovich.

“No passes out. Once you come in, you can’t go back out, unless you want to pay again, which we’ll gladly take another ticket. Obviously, normal campus situations as well. No smoking, no drugs, no alcohol, no weapons on campus. Period!”

Coach Sutulovich stresses sportsmanship.

“One thing we have been definitely getting better at is our sportsmanship and just being respectful to the officials, to the coaches, to the players, and the staff. There is no room for being disrespectful to anybody. Everybody there is trying to make the greatest experience they can make for everyone, and I get it, we all can get frustrated with officials, they are human, and honestly, they probably really don’t care who wins or loses, they’re just trying to do the best job they can.”

Please follow these rules at The Reservation and go Indians!
