Rebels Boys Teams Head to Break with Sweep

The Stephens County Middle School Rebels boys’ basketball teams headed into the holidays with road wins at Madison County on Monday.
The 7th grade Rebels won in a tight one 39-37. King Drinkard led the Rebels with 8 points, Ahmad Parimon added 7 points and BJ Rucker 6 for the 7th grade Rebels now 6-3 in the region and 7-3 overall.
The Rebels 8th grade boys followed with a 47-40 victory over Madison. Tray Martin led the Rebels with 15 points and Branson Crumley also scored in double figures with 14. The 8th grade Rebels boys improved to 7-2 in the region and 8-2 overall.
Both teams sit in 2nd place in the region headed to the break and the next games will be January 6th when they host Habersham.
