Rebels Boys Sweep Habersham

After a long holiday break, the Stephens County Middle School Rebels boys’ basketball teams started 2026 with home wins over Habersham County on Tuesday.

The 7th grade boys took a 34-31 victory. Ahmad Parimon led the 7th grade Rebels with 10 points and King Drinkard added 9 points.

The Rebels 7th grade boys improved to 7-3 in region play and 8-3 overall.

The Rebels 8th grade boys defeated Habersham in a tight low scoring contest 18-16.

Ty Stanley led the 8th grade Rebels with 7 points. Tray Martin and Lawrence Peterson added 4 each for the Rebels 8th grade boys now 8-2 in region play and 9-2 overall.

Both Rebels teams will be back at home on Monday, January 12 when they host Rabun County on 8th grade recognition night.
