Rebels Boys Split at Elbert

The Stephens County Middle School boys team split a pair of games with Elbert County on Thursday.

The 8th grade Rebels boys won going away 48-19. Ty Stanley scored in double figures with 10 points, and Tray Martin and Aiden Cobb added 8 each. The Rebels 8th grade boys improved to 3-1 in the region and 4-1 overall.

The Rebels 7th grade boys suffered their 2nd loss falling 51-38. Keegan Howard scored 10 points to lead the Rebels. King Drinkard scored 7 points and Malachi McCurry 6 in the loss. The Rebels 7th grade boys are now 2-2 in the region and 3-2 overall.

The Rebels boys’ teams are off until December 1st when they host Hart County at 4:30 P.M.
