Pollock Resigns As Habersham Football Coach

Habersham Central High School is on the lookout for a new head football coach, according to media reports.

Accessnorthga.com is reporting that Michael Pollock resigned Thursday from the head football coaching position of the Raiders.

Habersham Central went 1-9 this past season.

Pollock was in his second year coaching the Habersham Central football team.

In those two years, Pollock was 1-19.

The Raiders have struggled for the past three years, playing in the AAAAAA classification as one of the smallest schools at that level in Georgia.

Since moving to AAAAAA, Habersham Central has gone just 2-28 over three seasons.

Habersham Central last had a winning season in 2011 at the AAAA level, when the Raiders went 6-5 and made it to the first round of the state playoffs.
