People First Fishing Tourney Called Success

People First of Stephens County holds its annual fishing tournament.

The annual event took place on Saturday at a pond owned by Jim Rhoades on North Avenue in Eastanollee.

This marked the 15th year for the event.

People First Supporter Jeraldine Hayes said that they had an incredible day again this year.

“Just about everybody caught a lot of fish,” said Hayes. “We even had a blind lady who caught a lot of fish.”

She said that People First cannot thank Rhoades enough for the use of his pond each and every year.

Also, she said they appreciate all of the other volunteers and sponsors who gave time or supplies to help make the tournament happen again this year.
