Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Front Of Toccoa City Hall

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle this morning in front of Toccoa City Hall. Toccoa Police Officer John Hubbard provides the details; “Basically the vehicle was backing out in front of the municipal building. Another person was crossing the road outside of the crosswalk at the municipal building. The driver backed in to that person. Another person made her aware (that she had struck someone). She (the pedestrian) was transported by EMS.”

The accident happened just after 10 a.m. this morning. There is no word yet on the extent of the injuries, but thought to be non-life threatening.
