Ottaway, Zigan promoted at SCSO

On Sept. 23, Sheriff Randy Shirley promoted two members of the SCSO family.

Deputy John Ottaway, who previously served in the Courthouse Division, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the Patrol Division.

Investigations Staff Sergeant Bill Zigan, who previously served in the Criminal Investigations Division, has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant over the Patrol Division.

Shirley stated, “We are excited to have these two outstanding men step into new leadership roles within the Sheriff’s Office. Please join us in congratulating our newly promoted.”
