Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Coming to Toccoa

A new store is coming to Toccoa.

An Ollie’s Bargain Outlet store will soon be setting up shop in the old Goody’s Department store building on Big A Road behind the Wendy’s.

Work is already taking place inside the building to ready it for the new retailer.

A banner on the front of the building says Ollie’s is also hiring for the new Toccoa store and those interested can go to the Ollie’s web site to apply.  https://www.ollies.us/careers/

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is one of America’s largest retailers of closeout merchandise and excess inventory.

The Company has 268 stores across the east coast and southeast selling merchandise of all descriptions.

Much of the merchandise comes direct from manufacturers in the U.S. and abroad.

Ollie’s also works with major retailers to liquidate inventory when stores close.

When companies liquidate, the banks will often dispose of remaining inventories and turn them into cash.

Ollie’s brings the goods back to their stores and passes the savings on to consumers.

The new store is expected to open sometime in 2018.
