Odyssey Coffeehouse now open at TFC

A new coffee house is up and running in Stephens County.

The Odyssey Coffeehouse is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College, across from the Mail Center and is open to the public.

Last week, the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new business with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Toccoa Falls College President Dr. Robert Myers said he was proud of his staff for their efforts in turning an idea into fruition.

He adds that the TFC Administration wants the community to have a presence on campus.

“We want the community to have a presence on campus,” Myers said. “We want you to attend our events and be a part of the campus. Thank you for being a part of this.”

Odyssey Coffeehouse Manager and Vice President of Student Affairs Abigail Davis said they chose to call the business Odyssey Coffeehouse for a reason.

“We deliberately decided to call it Odyssey Coffeehouse and not Coffeeshop, because we want you to feel like your home when you come in here. And because we tell our students that they are all on an adventure, and that starts here at TFC so we decided to name it Odyssey because this is just one of the many stops they’ll make on their adventure,” Davis said.

The Odyssey Coffeehouse is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.; Monday-Thursday from 7:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.; Friday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight; Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. until Midnight; and on Sundays from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
