No Charges in Habersham Drug Raid

A Habersham County grand jury has decided not to charge any of the law enforcement officers involved in a drug raid in Habersham County earlier this year.

That’s according to numerous media reports, including one in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The Habersham County grand jury had spent the last six days hearing evidence and testimony related to the raid at a Cornelia home in May that injured a toddler.

The child, who was 19 months old at the time, was injured when authorities in Habersham County threw a “flashbang” grenade into a residence while serving a search warrant on May 28 at a home in Cornelia as part of a drug investigation.
