Mrs. Sherry Jo Toby Mize
Mrs. Sherry Jo Toby Mize age 64 of Royston, passed away Friday January 3, 2025 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
A daughter of Betty Sosebee Youngblood and the late William W. Toby, she was born June 2, 1960 in Trion, North Carolina, having lived the last years in Royston. She loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. She had a love for rock hunting and camping. She enjoyed buying and selling jewelry and her exotic birds. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by a sister Wilette WeHunt.
Survivors include her mother Betty Sosebee Youngblood, her husband Steve Mize of the home, son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Adrianne Owen of Pickens, South Carolina, daughter Christy Garrick of Easley, South Carolina, grandchildren Kelsey, Austin, Adrian, Camden, Kobe, Javis, Melanie and Zachary, two great-grandchildren Kason and Jakari, sister Anita Davis and a brother Jeffery Toby.
Graveside services will be held Monday January 6th, 2025 at 3 P.M. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with Kyle Johnson officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Christopher Owen, Camden Tucker, R.C. Baehsher, Austin Toby, Adrian Toby and Kobe Bradley.
