Mrs. Rebecca Anne Schenck Carter

Mrs. Rebecca Anne Schenck Carter, age 47 of Kay Road, Eastanollee passed away Tuesday, Februar4y 18, 2020 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, Georgia.

A daughter of Morris and Ruth Foster Schenck, she was born August 11, 1972 in Hornell, New York having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was employed with Gem Southeast for a number of years and attended First Alliance Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Carter in 2014.

Survivors include her parents, Morris and Ruth Schenck of Eastanollee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nikki and Mark Henderson of Eastanollee and Jannah and Austin Canup of Carnesville; son, Ethan McCroskey of Eastanollee; three grandchildren, Emma, Ella and Wesley; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Carlton and Carol Schenck of Troupsburg, New York, Marvin and Jannie Schenck of Greenwood, New York and Merlin and Lisa Schenck of Eastanollee; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Duane Knoll of Canisteo, New York and Veronica and Larry Salzman of Sarasoto, Florida; special friend, Brian Saxon; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 22, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Roger Elrod officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jesse Schenck, Jordan Schenck, Larry Salzman, Austin Canup, Mark Henderson and Ethan McCroskey.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service time. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Roselane Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Rebecca Anne Schenck Carter.
