Mrs. Phyllis Whitlock Wilburn

Mrs. Phyllis Whitlock Wilburn, age 70, of Toccoa, wife of David Wilburn, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at her home.

Born November 4, 1950 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late John Phillip and Mary Lee Harbert Whitlock.

She was a homemaker and a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church.

Family members include her husband, David Wilburn; son Richard Garner of Toccoa; grandchildren, O’Ryan Garner and Colby Garner; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Eddy Hardman and Amy and Kenny Caudell; brother, Dennis Whitlock; step-daughters, Cindy Hill, and Sherri Pruitt and her husband Steve; grandchildren, David and Jennifer Byargeon, Cameron and Miranda Simmons, Harlin and Melissa Pruitt, Keri Pruitt, Weston Hill, Katelyn Hill, Skylar Hill, Randy Wilburn, and Michael Wilburn; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 aunts; 2 uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary on Wednesday, May 5 from 1pm until the service hour.

Funeral services will be held at two o’clock Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Burial will follow at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Richard Garner, O’Ryan Garner, Colby Garner, Brandon Hardman, Harlin Pruitt, Weston Hill, and Stacy Pulliam.
