Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Booth Hiner
Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Booth Hiner, age 85, of Martin, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at her home.
Born October 8, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Randall Ivan and Carrie McCollum Booth.
Mrs. Hiner worked in the correspondent department under United States Presidents, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, and Jimmy Carter. For a time, she was the secretary to the United States Ambassador in Lima Peru. After moving to Toccoa she worked as a secretary and retired from Aeroquip. She was a member of the First Alliance Church of Toccoa.
Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, R. Jeffrey and Peggy Hiner; daughters and sons-in-law, Cari and Ron Duttlinger and Laurie and David Barnes; ten grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous other loved family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Charles Hiner; her granddaughter, Lindsey Barnes Worley; and a brother, Randal Ivan Booth, Jr.
The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at 2:30 on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at the First Alliance Church of Toccoa. Prior to the service they will receive friends from 2pm – 2:30pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First Alliance Church of Toccoa Missions Fund at 220 Alliance Drive Eastanollee, GA 30538.
