Mrs. Mary Bohannon Griffin Shackelford

Mrs. Mary Bohannon Griffin Shackelford, age 65, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born May 3, 1956 in Toccoa, GA, she was a daughter of the late Troy and Jeanette Merck Bohannon.

She was a member of High Point Community Worship Center and had worked for GEM Southeast in Toccoa.

Family members include her children, Nicole Smith, Jeremy Griffin, and Kyle and Holly Griffin, Michael Maxwell; step-daughter, Danielle and Mitchell Potts; step-son, Chuck and Christy Simmons; sister, Sharon Englin; brother, Allen Bohannon; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Daniel “Danny” Shackelford and a brother, Terry Bohannon.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm – 3pm Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at three o’clock Saturday, November 6, 2021 with the Rev. Warren Lewis and the Rev. Ray Bohannon officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Jeremy Griffin, Kyle Griffin, Michael Maxwell, Logan Smith, Dustin Englin, and Hank Bohannon.
