Mrs. Lorene Ramsey

Lorene Margaret Ramsey, age 77, of Toccoa, passed away March 31, 2025 at her home.

Born September 11, 1947 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Everett and Lessie Lee Ramsey.  Lorene lived her entire life in Toccoa and she was the last remaining member of her immediate family.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Ramsey; a nephew, Randall Harold Long, and a niece Rachel Lillian Long.

Lorene is survived by a nephew, Richard Long (Lisa); nieces, Rhonda Long Crump and Renitia Rae Rohletter; great nieces and nephews, Leighann Campbell (Alex), Jacob Rohletter, and Amy Wilson (Justin); 7 great-great nieces and nephews.  Her nieces and nephews loved their “Ene” very much.

She was a member of Carnes Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Coats &

Clark.

Lorene’s wishes were to be cremated.  The Family will have a private service at a later date.
