Mrs. Judith “Judi” Diane Osowski Dressler

Mrs. Judith “Judi” Diane Osowski Dressler, age 77, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born December 5, 1943 in Cranston, Rhode Island; she was the daughter of the late Anthony Joseph Osowski and Florence Grandchamp Benson.

She was a retiree from Toccoa Falls College after 18 years of service, beloved by staff and students, always known to bring a smil to the faces of everyone around her.  She enjoyed retirement with her friends and family, but always made time to tend to her garden and watch the birds.

Family members include her children, Laura Kinsey and Richard Patton of Martin and Beth Benson of Toccoa and Jess Arrowood and Melissa of Toccoa; step-daughter, Jessica Dressler of PA; step-son, Ty Dressler of WA; sisters, Vivian Ellis, Janet Clymer, and Cheryl Sadowski; brothers, Joseph Osowki, and William Osowki; her grandchildren, Will Morel and Richard Majchrzak , Misty Morel, Rick Sertain, Crystal Kinsey, Jake Payne, Austin Alexander, Cassi Emmanuel, and Ethan Bolman; eight great-grandchildren; and her very best friend and sister, Martha Whitlock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Lynn Dressler in 2001; and her brothers, Anthony Osowki and Edward Osowski.

On Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary a memorial service will be held at three o’clock with the Rev. Chad Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm until 3pm prior to the service.
