Mrs. Juanita Bell Worley

Mrs. Juanita Bell Worley, age 93, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025 and is resting in the arms of Jesus.
Born January 24, 1932 in Toccoa, she was a daughter of the late Isom Lester and Minnie Irene Morgan Bell.  Juanita was a busy active Lady.  She retired from WABCO.  After retiring she loved to work and stay active.  She went back to work with the Stephens County School System where she enjoyed the kids and cooking for them.  She was known as “Granny”.  Juanita was a volunteer at the Stephens County Senior Center.  She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church since 1945.  She was a Board Member at North Georgia Credit Union, and a member of the Eastern Star.  Juanita loved to travel and loved her family.  She always made sure everyone knew they were loved with a call, a visit, a card, or a cake.  She was an Angel on earth.  Now she is surrounded by Angels.
Family members include her children; Michael Worley (Linda) of Griffin, GA, Keith Worley of Toccoa, and Jane Suttles (Donnie) of Westminster, SC; grandchildren, Jason Worley (Mary), Joshua Worley (Shelley), Julie Pagels Williams (Seth), Jake Pagels (Katey); great-grandchildren, Laci Jane and Landry Williams, Meredith Worley, Cade Worley, Parker Worley, Madison Worley, Claire Ann Pagels and Emma Pagels; two brothers, Joe Bell (Linda) and James Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents and her loving husband, Hoyt Worley, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Bell and Howard Bell; and two sisters, Barbara Dooley and Jimmie Alewine.
The body will be placed in the Church at 1pm Tuesday, November 4, 2025 to lie-in-state until the service hour where friends and family may gather and view Mrs. Juanita. The family will be at their respective homes and will not have a formal visitation at the mortuary.
A service to Celebrate her Life will be held at two o’clock Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Dr. Jamie Smith and Mr. Brian Akin officiating.
Burial will be at Stephens Memorial Gardens.
The following grandsons and great-grandson will serve as pallbearers, Jason Worley, Joshua Worley, Jake Pagels, Parker Worley, Cade Worley, Landry Williams, and Seth Williams.
The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Family Hospice and Shaconda Poole for taking excellent care of Juanita.
