Mrs. Jessie “Jenny” Janette Roland Moseley.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jenny Moseley, 88, of Toccoa. Jenny went to be with her heavenly Father on October 25 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. A remarkable woman, Jenny, embodied kindness and generosity. Her warm and caring spirit inspired everyone who knew her.
For years, Jenny devoted herself to serving at Tom’s Creek Church, sharing her faith and compassion with her community until she could no longer attend. She faithfully delivered copies of the weekly sermon and annually carried fruit baskets to homebound members. She faithfully supported her husband during his years of service in the Air Force. They were able to travel throughout Europe and the United States. Her unwavering love for her family was evident in every moment they spent together, and she cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Jenny is preceded in death by her mother, father, and sisters, Ruby Goldsmith, Lucy O’Barr, Willie Sexton, Ollie Hayes, and Peggy Minchew. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Bobby, with whom she shared 68 beautiful years of marriage. She is also survived by her sons, Steve Moseley (Laura) and Donny Moseley, and her daughter, Janice Mayes. Her legacy continues through her grandson, Josh Mayes (Misty), and her cherished great-granddaughters, Kendall and Lexi Mayes.
Those who knew Jenny will remember her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and endless love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
